Choosing The Right Curtain Heading

The heading will help define the overall look of your room. What are you looking for something casual, formal, feminine or modern. Here are some options.

Pinch Pleat

The pinch pleat is a classic heading and if you want something special this is an excellent choice. The heading is suitable for both tracks and poles, though it hangs better from a pole. With the pinch pleat the width is fixed.

Pencil Pleat

The pencil pleat heading is relaxed and versatile. You have the flexibility to adjust both the finished width and the height slightly to suit your look. At Window Hang Ups our pencil pleats are either 3” deep, or 6” if your curtains are more than 250 cm long. Suitable for poles and tracks.

The eyelet heading gives a clean and contemporary look. This heading takes up very little space when stacked back. The eyelets are available in a range of colours to match your pole and fabric. This heading is suitable for poles only.

Wave is a neat and stylish curtain heading created through combining a specially designed heading tape and glider-cord to get a soft and simple continuous wave effect. The finished appearance is similar to that of eyelet curtains but fabric hangs directly below the track in a neat and uniform style.
